Why the Governemnt Should Support the Arts

Art includes many creative endeavors and areas, including visual art, literary art and performing arts. Art plays an important role in our society, history and existence. Famous artist Pablo Picasso summarizes the importance of art and said that "art washes away dust from everyday life from the soul." Our understanding of the ancient civilization is based on relics found by archaeologists. In May 2009, Mr. First Michel Obama visited New York City to celebrate the promotion of art and the resumption of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Art: All Americans graduate from high school and should read American and world literary works. They should experience and produce art and music in various forms. Every student should be encouraged to choose at least one art form, in particular to move them and to understand it.

Should all students receive art education? Do art education relate to the outcomes of other academic disciplines? What is the social outcome of a public school art course? Are there studies to support evidence-based practice in the direction of art? Since art education in public schools affects the allocation of public funds, it is one of the policy issues and the theme of ideal digital evaluation. In addition to students with special needs, it is worth noting that public schools in the city often serve more students with low socioeconomic status (SES) and English learner (ELL).

Many of the largest art groups in the United States rely on federal finance to survive. Critics of art public funds says it should be. In principle, support to art should not be a function of the government. The 2014 Republican Parliamentary budget proposal states, "These institutions can raise funds from customers in the private sector, which will also be protected from political interference." Meanwhile, advocates of the public art fund point out educational and economic interests such as tourism, and are often promoted by projects funded by them. In addition, they state that for all the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the federal government has little support, and many other organizations can not survive without public funds.
