Why the Death Penalty should be abolished

Innocent people have been executed, and it will happen in the future. Regardless of how the justice system evolves, it is always susceptible to human error. Unlike imprisonment, the death penalty is irreversible and irreparable.

Death sentences are often used in disproportionate ways to deal with members of the group of poor, ethnic or racial, ethnic, political, religious groups.

The death penalty infringes the right to life, which is exactly the most basic right of all human rights. It also violates the right not to suffer torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading handling or punishment. Furthermore, the death penalty impairs the individual's dignity inherent in each individual.

The capital punishment has no deterrent effect that its supporters usually mention. As the UN General Assembly recently said, "There is no definitive evidence to prove the deterrent of the death penalty" (General Assembly Resolution 65/206). It is worth noting that in many retaining countries more and more law enforcement experts are seriously questioning the effectiveness of the death penalty for crime prevention.

People's support for the death penalty does not necessarily mean that deprivation of life by the state is correct. There are obvious historical priorities, serious violations of human rights have been supported by the majority, but they have been strongly condemned. The work of leaders and politicians emphasizes that the death penalty is incompatible with human rights and human dignity.

It should be pointed out that the public's support for the death penalty is inseparable from the public's desire to avoid crime. However, there are more effective security methods.

The main reason why the death penalty is abolished is that it ultimately deprives human rights. "This is the murder of the human race killed by the state systematically and cold blood under the name of justice" (Amnesty International 1). It infringes the right to life as declared by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Another reason for the abolition of the death penalty is the simple fact that 'institutions' often fail to apply the death penalty fairly. "The death penalty is discriminatory and unfairly targets the poor, ethnic minorities, minority ethnic groups, ethnic and religious groups" (1). Needless to say, the death penalty is an irreversible violent act of the state and always risks innocent behavior (1)

One of the most controversial issues in our country is whether to abolish the death penalty. The death penalty is an aversion to humanity. By abolishing the death penalty, people are exempt from moral and unjust death. Nobody has the right to take away the lives of others from them. Since the beginning of time, the death penalty exists and it is necessary to abolish. - Our digital world has brought many changes and advances to our daily lives. Every year, better latest video games, TVs and gaming systems are on sale. Therefore, in our society, there is growing concern that these games and programs become increasingly violent and whether this leads to increased violence and aggression exposed to such materials.

In order to fully understand why they want to abolish the death penalty, I will first analyze the reasons they are doing this. The first reason to abolish the death penalty is the risk of punishing innocent people. "We are just human beings, we all make mistakes." This is a commonly used phrase, but it has been proved. Humans as seeds are known for their mistakes. However, in the case of the death penalty, the mistake is too dangerous. With the approval of our own government, innocent life should be enough to abolish capital punishment. False execution of innocent people is unfair that can not be rectified. In the wrong time, innocent people are always available in the wrong place. Some evidence provided by a powerful lawyer may declare a person as life imprisonment or even death sentence. By walking on the wrong street on the wrong day, people can spend their captivity.
