Why The Common Core: Benefits for Students

Mississippi's common core standard is a wonderful way to educate students in today's society. This new approach to education is considered the best way to educate our young people about the clever skills they need to know when entering universities and workforce. A common core standard is to establish a consistent education in the United States. The effectiveness of the Mississippi Common Core Standard is that children learn not only texts in books but also useful thought skills.

Teachers and principals are convinced that teachers can teach a common core, not a common core useful for their students. Most principals and most teachers think that implementing a common core is difficult for their school. Nearly half of the teachers and principals reported that the teacher used a core common to their teachings. However, there are relatively few educators who believe that a common core improves student academic ability and improves preparation for students and college students. Educators who better understand the overall core as a whole, and schools that carry out mass education using this standard, the standards will have greater confidence in improving student performance .

Why did New York choose to adopt a common core standard? New York adopts a common core standard and ensures that all students graduate from high school with the core academic knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in university, career, and life. The 2009 International Assessment (PISA) shows that 15 year old students from more than 30 countries are better than the US 15 year old mathematics. New York's score is even lower than the average in the U.S. Massachusetts State (which raised academic standards many years ago) is currently ranked among the top ten countries in Singapore, Finland, and Korea.
