There are 250 million Americans with mobile phones. In Georgia Legislative Bill 23, text messages sending and talking about drivers under the age of 18 are prohibited (Dickensheets N. Pag). Some people think that driving text messages should be banned. But I think it should be banned from text messaging and driving for the damage and death you see on TV and the related news. Some people think driving and text messages are simple tasks such as taking a phone call or pushing random buttons.
Text messages and driving are prohibited in 35 states including Illinois. How about 15? You must ban text messaging and driving in any state. People are dying because of a terrible accident caused by text messages and driving. People always think that 'it will not be me.' That is why SMS and driving should be illegal not only in 35 states but in all 50 states.
