Why Slaves were not free during reconstruction.

The Southern Black law and the Jim Crow law basically gained the citizenship they just acquired, and these rights have been dismissed. Before the civil rights movement, the government was not regarded as a free citizen, as the government had not taken any measures to deter these unfair and cruel laws.

By the 15th revision, we will be given the right to vote which can not be rejected or deleted by everyone. Jim Crow Laws and Black Codes are not regarded as free citizens because they make it increasingly difficult to vote for African Americans to reduce these rights.

Black code says that blacks should serve white people. This is opposed to the thirteenth revision stating that "There is no slavery or unwilling slavery in the United States." Therefore, if a black man is forced to serve Caucasians against his will, they are rejected. The right of the thirteenth revision is not considered a free citizen

Black laws limit African Americans to grant them a second amendment, the right to own weapons. African Americans can not possess any kind of weapons unless permitted by the employer.

Finally, the 14 th amendment stipulates that the rights of all citizens are protected by the government.

African Americans are free during rebuilding. All states must approve the thirteenth revision of slavery abolition. This is the condition for these states to rejoin the United States. However, attempts to limit this freedom during reconfiguration have been made. For example, many states passed legislation called black code. These laws limit some of the former slaves of slavery. For example, unemployed former slaves may be arrested and fined, white employers will need to work to pay the penalty. Many white landlords do not borrow land to former slaves. Some former slaves were not hired and refused credit in the store. The tenant system enslaved many former slaves. In addition, they are often very debt. Finally, KKK was formed. This group intimidated the former slave. Therefore, slavery ended at the end of the civil war, but many former slaves were neither economically nor politically free.
