Twenty years ago, it was even predicted that physical education at all levels of K - 12 was mandated. Today, 4% of elementary school, 7% of junior high school and only 2% of high school offer physical education lessons every year throughout the year. To my surprise, 22% of schools do not need physical training at all. The lack of exercise during school education is certainly a factor in increasing obesity and related problems. Many schools currently offer vending machines to students for use during breaks, lessons, or lunch breaks. As you may find everywhere, their vending machines are often filled with candies, soda and other empty calorie snacks. Many students choose to rely on vending machine food instead of choosing healthy food during the lunch break.
Physical education should be mandatory for high school as a whole, including 11th and 12th graders. We define physical education as an educational course taken between elementary and secondary education and encourage psychomotor learning in the game or sports exploration environment to promote health and the rules require mandatory definitions or laws . Extensive research has repeatedly demonstrated that physical activity is good for your health as well as good for your mental health like social anxiety and stress relief. According to statistics, we are prevalent in Canada, health problems in Canada, especially obesity are rising. Sports is a place where everyone has the opportunity to work. Some students who choose not to participate in the 11/12 grade physical education program may argue that they participate in other activities. We should allow students to take other courses and learn to be responsible. Talk about giving responsibilities to students
