The influence of Hispanic in Florida dates back more than 500 years ago before Spaniards arrived and began constructing a permanent village. I am proud to say that I am Hispanic. As a second generation of Cuban American and Florida, I have to learn and convey my Hispanic, cultural and traditional unique qualities and abundance. From the very beginning, Hispanic tradition has had a big impact on me. Growing up in a bilingual family and learning Spanish in school gives me the advantage of communicating in two languages.
From 15th September to 15th October, Florida celebrates the traditional Hispanic month. Florida's Hispanic heritage month is an opportunity to learn how Florida's growing Hispanic population will contribute to the state culture, while strengthening the connection between Florida's Spain and Latin America. This month 's celebration is designed to recognize the contributions, traditions and culture of Hispanic Americans and Hispanics to the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate the rich history and multicultural heritage of this great country.

On the eve of Florida's Hispanic tradition, governor Christo reminded kindergarten in the 12th grade to participate in the 7th Florida Hispanic traditional monthly student contest today.
