The poor performance of Filipino students in domestic exams and international examinations like TIMSS (mathematical and scientific trends) reflects the poor quality of basic education. There is a balanced evaluation plan to evaluate 12 courses from K. It uses traditional and actual evaluation tools as necessary. Self-evaluation (evaluation as learning), formative evaluation (learning evaluation), and comprehensive evaluation (learning evaluation) are executed.

The purpose of this research paper is to understand the influence of K - 12 on the education in the Philippines. The purpose of this research is to answer the following questions. (1) What are the advantages and disadvantages of the K-12 course or basic education for 2 more years? (2) Do you agree or disagree with the K - 12 plan? This research will help parents of the affected students of the K - 12 program to understand the pros and cons of the program and to understand if it will help children's academic aid. Students benefit from this research and let them know how to understand school education for two years. Students will know how to provide better quality education to them

Since the early days of K - 12 education in the United States, public schools were the primary choice for K - 12 student education. As non-traditional K-12 learning organizations become more popular, students can access a variety of non-traditional learning models. This course will focus on the unique structure of non-traditional K-12 learning organization, including on-line learning at various charter schools, private schools, and K-12 students. (Prerequisite: 30 courses out of EDUC 509 and 36 are completed)
