Why is most of Coleridge’s best writing unfinished?

Why is Coleridge's writing largely incomplete? S. T. Coleridge is considered by many as a poet and critic who represents British romantic movements. Coleridge is known for his philosophical approach, and he is working with other great people like Southey and Wordsworth. And it is one of the most creative and important relationships in British literature.
