Why I Want to Teach at a Christian School -- LC Teacher

Why should we teach at the Christian School? Because I believe in Christian education. I think this will also affect student life. I believe this has had an impact on my life. In addition to teaching at a public school for two years, I was a freshman at the Linden Christian School, so I was part of Christian education. For nearly 40 years people have common beliefs whether they are my own teachers, professors, or my colleagues, that is wonderful.

When I was around a Christian educator, it was similar to meeting old friends. We have a common language. We have common hope. There is a common message. There is no need to say these, they are like this. When I was standing in front of the classroom, at least some of the students sitting in front of me saw that I shared my faith as if we knew each other . The connection between the teacher and the students is very important

It is learning that you feel safe and understanding. When a student has a common belief in my relationship, it strengthens the relationship, and I am free to push them to think in a way they do not dare. They have places to ask questions safely ... questions about important matters. Problems concerning eternal value. We all have to solve the problem. The same problem plagues the hearts and thoughts of the characters of the Bible that we read. For students who are not religious in my class, they can observe the process from the same security state. They brought their problems and deepened their dialogue. By the end of the semester, the small classes of believers and non-believers are families. This is the reason I like Christian education!

I teach academic and life course for Covenant children. Every child in my classroom is a child of God, which is made according to his image and loved by my father. They are curious about their Creator naturally. The most important thing is that we want children to ask big questions for safe places and safe people. According to His nature, God is mysterious. This mystery reminds us of problems. Because of its nature, God is immutable, and God can not lie. But we live in a changing world. I believe that they can approach the real core by letting my students ask big, difficult, and unresolved questions. They want to know what is consistent. By sharing our beliefs, we will grow. Sharing my journey with Jesus, my students grow.
