Why I love being a seafarer

Our seafarers have signed a contract on board six to nine months. Meanwhile, we saw the vast oceans and the sky most of the time. Is not that so boring? Well, if you do not have perseverance, determination and optimism, you can definitely conclude that life at the sea is boring. But if you want to see the world this is an occasion

I can not imagine if you want to go to church. If you want to buy something you need, you can not do it yet. If you truly miss your family, you can not accept them. In addition, our life turns in one cycle and we go to work to get to sleep. Breaking this cycle is a big challenge, so having an opportunity to land during your stay at our harbor is perfect.

After receiving the flight schedule, we usually check which port is best for exploration. In fact, car transport ships usually anchor at the port for up to five to seven hours. So it takes a couple of hours to get the opportunity to move to various places is a very exciting experience.

Usually, as we leave the boat, our main activities are to buy foods that we crave, collect souvenirs, shoes, clothes, perfumes and accessories as we send to the house It is to buy as "pasalubong" gift. What we do better is to take important pictures from our visit. Since then, they have posted these images on social media proudly to show the world we were in. In most cases, however, on a ship not connected to the Internet, the seafarer's initial choice is to purchase a missing person, especially a phone card to call the beloved family.

If I have time, I land on day and night. The happiness of landing and landing is precious. First of all, we can travel around the world for free. You can visit famous glasses that can only be seen in magazines. We meet people of all sorts of different races and we become friends. Most importantly, landing at our favorite place is like a dream come true. This is a seafarer 's miracle. When you return home, you can talk to a bunch of exciting stories to your friends and family.

In 2017, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) hopes to cooperate with the Port Seamen Center to prove how seafarers are important to them. The idea is to make it possible for harbors and seafarers 'centers to share and demonstrate the best practices in seafarers' support and welfare. As a result, the International Maritime Organization has created an interactive world map showing the best ways to support seafarers and welfare. In Canada, Halifax and Southern Seafarers' Mission of Southern Ontario are known for providing recreational facilities, boat tours, free transfer to shopping centers, social justice.
