When I examine the word "nurse" in a dictionary, I read something like "a person who care for a patient". It seems easy to think, but I think that attention is more than a simple definition. Being a nurse is a very rewarding task. Nurses take care of people through illness, injury, pain, loss, death, sadness, birth, growth, age, and wellness. They not only care for people through illness but also promote health, prevent illness, and educate the public.

Professional definitions are "requiring expertise, often requiring long-term intensive academic preparation" (Webster Dictionary, 2008). By definition it is no doubt that nursing is a profession. Nurses spend too much time and energy in the academic environment without using the word experts. - Public health hymns are to promote and protect people's health.
