Why Do Students Wear Uniforms?

In the United States, 23% of private and public school students must wear uniforms (2014, 1 page). All students must be wearing: shorts leading pants (khaki, dark blue or black), main shirts, or skirts, shorts, and shirts. In winter, students can wear jackets, cardigans, footwear. For footwear, students can close any shoes (Dallas Independent School District, 2010, 1 page). When students wear uniforms, it makes them more professional and more suitable for school environment.
