Why do Koreans love breakdancing?

In the 1990s, South Korea, where democratization advanced rapidly, began to allow the US military network broadcasting, and programs began to be provided to US military personnel all over the world. Hip hop is often seen on the Internet, and the depiction of that break dance captures the hearts of many Korean young people. By 2002, a Korean dance group called Expression Crew won the B-Boy and B-Girl's international convention known as Battle of the Year.

As an important part of national culture life, the Republic of Korea Culture, Sports and Tourism promotes break dancing worldwide, and now a break-dance competition hosted by the government is held each year.
