Why Did I Choose Penn?

Late at night, I can not find a perfect school on my computer. Searching so far is unnecessary. Looking at the list of future universities, my mind skipped the beat: University of Pennsylvania, I read. My mouth dried quickly. All common words came to mind. It's ivy, inaccessible, far away, inhumane, it is impossible to achieve. Of course I am not my university. Reluctantly, I was shocked when I logged in to the website. Before me was a world completely different from my expectation. It was interactive, diverse and exciting.

Why did you choose to come to Pennsylvania? As a member of the Ivy League school, Pennsylvania is very attractive to me. It is also beautiful, located in a pedestrian, historically and culturally rich city. The history of the University of Pennsylvania fascinated me - it was founded by Benjamin Franklin, the first engineer in the United States, where the tradition of engineering education dates back more than 100 years ago. The Computer Information Science (CIS) program provides many very cool courses such as software systems, the Internet and web systems, algorithms and machine learning. This course also gave me the flexibility to explore other courses. Due to all these factors, I urged you to select the pen as my first choice.

Penn has been working on writing undergraduate. Founder Benjamin Franklin insisted on practical education and thought that University of Pennsylvania was the first Ivy to ask for writing courses. As T. S. Eliot stated, its history, past existence is with us in this volume and continues to be at the center of the University of Pennsylvania Education.
