Why become a Recognized Student Organization?

Certified student organizations (RSOs) may require financial assistance to organize all open events for all students.

RSO can use the buildings, facilities and services of most universities at discounted prices or free of charge.

There are about 190 recognized student organizations in Chapman University. By joining a club, students can connect with colleagues with similar interests, acquire knowledge and skills on academic and career paths, and deepen their connection with the learning community, community and passion.

It is rare for CMC student organizations to provide services to the campus community, to acquire new leadership skills or to enrich their college experience. Becoming a CMC charter student organization gives students a unique opportunity to book spaces on campus, organize and host events, recognize and promote them with CMC names and logos, apply funds through ASCMC I will. Certified student organizations can access not only events and organizational consultation but also student activities, ASCMC resources, seminar series. The university recognizes over 1,300 student organizations. In addition, we support three official student management organizations that represent students' interests to teachers, administrators and Texas State Assembly. Established in 1902, the student government is the oldest governance organization that represents the general interests of students. The Senate of the University Council The Senate represents student affairs, coordinates the University Council, and the Graduate Council Meeting represents the interests of graduate students. College 's Collaborative Student Activity Center is the center of student activities on campus. The brotherhood association is the oldest honorary party in the university. Established in 1923, Texas Orange Jackets is the oldest female honorary service on campus enabling young women leaders to serve campuses and communities.
