Why and Where do Mirages Occur?

Many times they show water not present to you, show the landmarks closer to them, move the ground and the horizon, and sometimes even show the city of sand. If you are staying overnight in the desert, please make sure you are wearing warm clothes at night. Perhaps even some instant heating pads. You can ignite, but beware that when you sleep, you unconsciously go to the fire and probably light the fire!
