Fred Shuttlesworth is an actor who brought new highlights to the dark city and the whole country. Fred L. Shuttlesworth was born on March 18, 1922 and grew up in difficult times in rural Alabama province. He began missionary soon after he graduated from Oaks High School in Alabama. He continued education at Selma University and Alabama State University, and eventually became a pastor of the Birmingham Buttery Baptist Church. Shuttlesworth began a very active ministry by fighting for civil rights.
