When the sun burns and the rain is unstable in Kathmandu, it is best to visit the newly opened "Whoopee Land Amusement and Water Park".

The park started service on July 6th and became the second water park in the Kathmandu Valley. The amusement park is near Chobhar about 5 km from Bobhu.

A big sculpture by The Incredible Hulk welcomes you at the entrance. There are other famous movie characters offering Hollywood theme of the park.

There are 17 kinds of rides in the park, there are various restaurants, stalls and gift shops that visitors use.

Currently, Whoopee Land offers a monsoon discount and lowers the ticket price for a limited time. Until July 20th, adult visitors pay 495 Indian rupees on weekdays and 295 rupees on holidays. For children, the ticket price for weekdays and holidays is 295 Indian Rupee.

In addition, elderly people aged 65 and over and children under 3 feet can enter for free. The park has a cash card system that allows visitors to shop through the system.

After the monsoon discount expires, the agency is planning to charge the standard price of INR 825 for adults and 475 rupees for children.

Whoopee Land is at the intersection of these communities, right outside the city. Self-sufficiency farmers see a seemingly infinite land from their mud house above the park's fence. They welcome mainly the new neighbors and the cash they bring to the community. The majority of employed employees are locals, and some entrepreneurs have started tin shops to sell potato chips and moms, the most popular Nepal snacks. For locals and Kathmandu residents, white letters written in Whoopee Land's white capital letters imitate the symbolic Hollywood logo and promise to enter another world

July 6, 2016 - Located at the southern end of the valley near Chobhar, 5 km from Balkhu in Whoopee Land, we welcome customers today. New entertainment and water park will be the second water park following Sanga's Kathmandu Amusement Valley. Whoopee Land has 17 rides and many other attractions, offering various options for adults, family and children. A monumental sculpture "The Incredible Hulk" is near the entrance and Avatar Neytiri and Ogre Shrek are offering Disneyland style air to the park. Jurassic park with mechanical dinosaur is also at the end. Two vehicles are reserved for bold visitors: Frisbee and Ranger. Families can also enjoy vibration ship, octopus or bull riding. Zorb ball is a sport (happy) participants are rolling in a large transparent ball.
