WHOOPEE LAND AMUSEMENT AND WATER PARK

Located at the southern end of the valley, Whoopee Land Amusement and Water Park is 5 km from Balkhu, close to Chauvar. Whoopee Land promises to offer choices for adults, families and children with 17 rides and many other attractions.

A monumental sculpture "The Incredible Hulk" is near the entrance and Avatar Neytiri and Ogre Shrek are offering Disneyland style air to the park. Jurassic park with mechanical dinosaur is also at the end. Two vehicles are reserved for bold visitors: Frisbee and Ranger. Families can also enjoy vibration ship, octopus or bull riding. Zorb Ball (happy) is a sport where participants are rolling in a large transparent ball or rolling in the park. Despite thrilling rides, the park has special attractions for children such as Play Pen and swimming pool.

The main attractions of Whoppee Land are four water slides. There are restaurants, stalls and gift shops in the park. Furthermore, in order to prevent the banknotes becoming dirty, the park has a cash card system that can be purchased at all.

Rates for parks are adults and children are 675 rupees and 375 rupees respectively, Saturdays and holidays are 875 rupees and 475 rupees.

In the outskirts of Kathmandu, thousands of Nepali people are flowing into Whoopee Land just like the city gradually disappears into the field. Rotating vehicles, water slides, pop music protect you from the confusion of the city. Motorcycles and scooters in their teens to 20s enter a muddy parking lot and young families drive compact cars around puddles. This is a school vacation and many people see amusement parks opened for the first time a few weeks ago.
