"Who is the Corrie Ten Boom?" Someone may ask. Ten Boom is a singer, actor or painter. No, she is a woman fighting Jewish genocide. Cornelia Arnolda Johanna Ten Boom was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on April 15, 1892 (Wheaton College 2010). During the Holocaust era, Corey was a brave woman; she stood boldly in front of the Jews. But only by the grace of God she can plan strategic plans to help the Jews and leave the greatest legacy of everyone through the power of Christ forgiveness.
The historical symbol of Wiesel is Cornelius 'Collie' Tenmania (1892-1983) which survived the massacre. Together with her father and other families, ten enthusiasm helped the Jews escape the Holocaust and opened up their homes - the Jews and those involved in other resistance movements - which Gestapo was seeking. Eventually Collie and her family were imprisoned for work and Collie eventually entered the Ravensbrück concentration camp in the German female labor camp. After the war, Corey returned to the Netherlands and opened a concentration camp survivor rehabilitation center.
When the Nazis invaded the Netherlands, the quiet life of Corrie ten Boom turned into a nightmare. She made her home a "hidden place" of the Jew, so her and her family were sent to concentration camps. Collie refused despair and discovered how Jesus turned the loss into glory! This unforgettable story will make you tears. Collete boom stood with her sister named Betsy and was watching hostess destroy prisoners at concentration camps. "Oh, poor woman," Cory shouted. "Yes, God please forgive her," Betsey replied. And again, Cory realized that my sister prayed for the soul of a cruel Nazi guard.
During the notorious concentration camp 'Ravensbruck', Corrie Ten Boom and her sister Bestie are trying to convey the gospel. Even in this painful and cruel and horrible place, Jesus' light can penetrate people's mind and give peace. When I first visited the Ten Boom Museum in Haarlem I remembered that it was amazing to hear about this family and what they were doing under the name of Jesus. The book "hidden place" gives me the same feeling of surprise and empowerment as God, but there are also people who try to spread their own words and others follow. "I am not a prisoner" I changed my mind
