In Genesis 14: 18, Melchizedek was the king of Salem and was introduced as the priest of the highest God (El Lion). After fighting the enemies of Sodom, Abram met Melchizedek before meeting with King Sodom. In this encounter, Melchizedek took out bread and wine and continued to bless Abram. After being blessed, Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of a loss. Melchizedek is the subject of many scholars who are thinking about it. Some scholars regard him as a reincarnation god, others are watching him as a historical figure who has taken a different view.
God visited Abraham many times. The Lord has spoken to him over and over. The scholars believe in the mysterious "King of Peace" or "King of Justice", Melchizedek who blesses Abram, and Abram which gives one tenth, perhaps the God of Christ (the appearance of God). Abraham was born in Caldea town Ull, now Iraq. He traveled to Harlan (currently southeast) at a distance of 500 miles with his family and stayed there until his father died. When God summoned Abraham, he moved to Canaan 400 miles south where he spent most of his time.
Melchizedek is the king of Salem, the highest priest of God. When Abraham came back after he killed the king, he met Abraham. That day, Melchizedek blessed him. Then Abraham handed over a tenth of his kind to him. King Salem Melemizedek has two meanings. First of all, Melchizedek means 'King of Justice'. "King of Salem" means "King of Peace". No one knows who his father or mother is or where he came from. No one knows when he was born, when he died. Melchizedek is like a child of God, he will always be a pastor. You can see that Melchizedek is wonderful. Our ancestor Abraham gave him everything he won in the fight. Now in law the people from the Levites stipulate that even if they and their people come from the family of Abraham, the priests must be one tenth of the people to receive. Melchizedek was not even from the Levi tribe, but Abraham gave him a tenth.
