Who are the non-readers of America?

If 73% of Americans have read at least one book in the past year, who else is there?

Every year, the Pew Research Center looks at people who read Americans, reading books, reading the number of people reading, and their books (number of books or prints). According to the latest results, 73% of Americans have read at least one book in the last 12 months and have not really changed since 2012. As you can see from the report, "Americans read an average of 12 books per year, but typical (median) Americans have read four books in the last 12 months."

But this means that about 27% of American adults have never read books in the past year. I am deeply interested in this fact as an inhalation of daily books and as an indispensable part of health as my food (and a bit scary). Are these people never touching books, seeking other forms of entertainment, and getting their news and personal opinions from other sources?
