Before there were 50 states in the United States there were 13 colonies. Before the United States acquired independence on July 4, 1776, they were called colonies. Thirteen colonies were divided into three regional groups: Southern colonies (Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland), Central Colony (Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York State) and the New England colony Land (Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts). Each colony has differences in culture and lifestyle, and various resources that make them unique

The farm in New York is usually small and the area is about 50-150 acres. The central colony, including New York, is seen as a "basket of bread" during the colonial era, producing wheat-like cereals, which are crushed into wheat flour and exported to the UK. The colony also produces maize, beef, pork products, as well as textiles of linen and marijuana. According to the Dutch, the port of New York (then known as New Amsterdam then) was founded at the corner of Manhattan to protect the fur business of the West Indian company in the Netherlands. The economy thrived and the city's population grew rapidly to 2,000 by 1665. As the Netherlands allows many types of immigrants, including Jews, the economy is based on a very diverse fur trade.

Virginia was the first southern colony to succeed. As Puritan's enthusiasm promotes business development in New England and while the Quaker experiment at the University of Pennsylvania turns the central colony into a breadcrumb of the United States, the south is turning into a cash crop in the south. Geography and motivation make these colony developments different from those of northern colonies. It was immediately north of Virginia. Beginning as a Catholic experiment, the tobacco is the most important crop so the colonial economy will soon be in Virginia. In the south, Carolina State was established, which was created after the conclusion of the British Civil War. Georgia deep in the south, there are the first 13 colonies. Due to the challenges of Spain and France, King wanted to create a buffer zone between Carolina cash crops and foreign enemies. As a debtor's colony, Georgia will meet this demand.
