What was the Monroe Doctrine and why was it proclaimed?

Monroe issued a statement by President Monroe in December 1823, indicating that the European countries no longer have new colonies in the Americas. Many countries in Latin America became independent from Europe in the first quarter of the 19th century. President Monroe is concerned that these European settlers may try to return to Central America and South America to regain independent colonies. America hopes America will be as free as possible from European rule. As a result, Monroeism was released.

Fortunately for the United States, the UK supports this policy. The United States does not have the military power and ability to carry out this policy. But Britain agrees to support this policy as Britain does not want their competitors, in particular Spain, to regain colonies of the Americas. The British Navy is very powerful and can be used to prevent any European country trying to rebuild the colony in Latin America.
