What was the life like during colonial times? When the first settlers came to the United States, they did not have much. Compared to today's lives, their lives are difficult and almost impossible. Early colonialists worked almost everyday to make a living. They survived because they are devoted to growing their settlements. (John F. Warner - pages 12-13) The first settlers can make almost everything with some simple tools. They made their own houses, furniture, and even the dishes they ate.
The colony has developed and developed for nearly a hundred years, and they do not feel they are part of the UK. As a result, they are struggling to live in British war. When more contact was lost, I felt that the settlers really wanted to build their own country. After the war, the UK needs to find a way to recover some of the money spent on it. As a result, they taxed merchandise traded in colonies. This made the settlers angry. After dealing with the pain of war in the motherland, settlers had to pay more for their needs.
After the war between France and India, settlers began to believe that British were absurd. They think that colonies are British colonies and should bear the cost of managing them. When time became easier and Britain earned a lot of money from the colony, they were not keen to share profits with colonies. At least if they had to pay taxes to help colonists offset the operation costs of the colony, they should at least be represented by Congress and discuss and vote on these taxes can do. Because the settlers did not have Congressional representatives, they felt taxes are unfair.
How did the war between France and India change the ideological way of thinking between the British and its American colonies? (Thinking only, not ecological or political)
Limit the growth of American colonies. The UK has done almost nothing to improve settlers' lives. Instead, colonies were restricted to environments that would help UK economic interests and colonial rule. Colonialists continued to move without the help of the royal family, but the colonies flourished without them. Without a lot of actions and taxes on American colonies they will prosper. Anxiety is growing through the growth of American colonies
