The type of UTP Ethernet network cable used to connect the PC to the router using the console. The flip cable is a null modem cable and is most commonly used to connect a PC to the console port as shown in Figure 1 [1]. It likes other types of cables, and their names come from how they are connected. Therefore, because one end of the cable rotates in the opposite direction, it is called a flip cable. Finally, the purpose of this cable is to allow you to configure the connection between the computer terminal and other devices (such as routers and switches) as needed [2].
An Ethernet crossover cable is a twisted pair Ethernet cable that connects computing devices directly, usually through a router such as a network switch, an Ethernet hub, or a network adapter that directly connects two personal computers. Most Ethernet devices currently support Auto MDI - X, so you can use a crossover cable or a straight - through cable. Fiber optic cable consists of a central glass core surrounded by several layers of protective material. Although fiber deployment is more expensive than copper, it provides higher bandwidth and can cover longer distances. There are mainly two kinds of optical fiber cable. Short-range multimode fiber and remote single mode fiber.
UTP cables are also the most commonly used cables in computer networks. Modern Ethernet is the most commonly used data network standard using UTP cable. Twisted pairs are relatively low cost compared to optical fibers and coaxial cables, so data networks are widely used for short and medium distance connections. UTP cables are increasingly being used for video mainly for security cameras. Many cameras have UTP outputs with screw terminals, and the bandwidth of the UTP cable has been improved to match the baseband of the TV signal. The telephone line contains hundreds or thousands of pairs. Each bundle contains a twisted pair with a different twist rate. Please carefully choose the twisted pair to minimize crosstalk of large cables.
Twisted pair cable industry standard defines two main types: unshielded twisted pair (UTP) and shielded twisted pair (STP). The latest Ethernet cable uses UTP cable because of its low cost, but the STP cable can be used with other kinds of networks such as FDDI (Fiber Distributed Data Interface). Instead of using an isolated metal wire to transmit the electrical signal, the fiber optic network cable uses a Gallast and an optical pulse. These network cables are made of glass, but you can bend them. These have proven to be extremely useful in the installation of wide area networks (WAN) which require long distance underground or outdoor cable operation and in office buildings with heavy traffic.
