What should I see as a first time visitor to Chennai?

Marina Beach and Beset Nagar Beach are the best beaches. It is not a beach like Goa or Mauritius. You can swim in the warm seawater and sunbathe. This is a totally different world. Shops and restaurants that sell a wide variety of things, such as families, unimaginable families, pedestrians, joggers, cyclists. They are noisy, multicolored, fragrant, and smelly ... at least one of them. There are many statues, a lighthouse and several monuments in the marina (3 of our former prime ministers are buried there)

Semozhi poonga near the Gemini Circle (A park). Although it was created with extreme caution, I heard that its shape is not good due to insufficient maintenance.
