What Shapes Societies More, Religion or Politics?

Through the history of the earth, society rose and fell. Each of these societies is influenced by many factors. Two of the most influential factors are religion and politics. But before the creation by politics and civilization, groups of people also have the belief that they have higher powers or have the power to influence their daily lives. Therefore, politics is not the only influence of religion on society. Since human existence began, religion has existed on the earth. In 1 5000 BC, hunter collectors began traveling in most parts of the world.

The loss of religious influence on society has brought about a change in the relationship between religion and politics. However, the influence of religion on society has not completely disappeared (Berger 1999: 3). Recently, religion has become a growing phenomenon in the private sector (Luckmann 1967) or a vulnerable group. The impact of secularization on religion can not be denied, but there are still examples of growth and new influences on politics (Moyser 1991: 16). Religious orientation may be linked to political ideology (ie nationalism, fundamentalism, liberation theology) (Moyser 1991: 8).

There are five fundamental institutional areas in society. The main institutions are families, education, economics, religion and politics. By basing their ideas and actions, they basically affect everyone's life. Each of these institutions contributes to the realization of basic social needs and concrete goals of society as a whole. Everyone has to adjust whether to superimpose their work to build society. The family system is the most important and is based on the teachings of values, norms, status and roles. Families aim to guide sexual activities, socialization and social relations in sexual unions (Family Sociology). Each family will behave differently in different environments and beliefs. There are various kinds of relativeship in the United States, and there are various ways for each relativeship relationship. Infertile families include parents living with biological children

Ideology takes a variety of forms, such as religion, social movement, political theory and so on. If people believe in ideology, it will shape their behavior. For example, if a religion requires the family to read God for himself, those who believe in that religion will need to learn to read. In this way, the ideology has a big impact on society regardless of whether it is correct or not. Max Weber noted that Protestant society has a higher literacy rate than Catholics. Social norms are usually intangible forms of social technology. This is the result of social norm, wearing clothes, washing hands and spending time with family. This is the result of social norms, we have certain expectations on how we should break down in our work and living, and how each member of society should behave. Even occupational or occupational concepts are social norms
