The question is what kind of policy the US adopts to address this challenge of maintaining US innovation. So what will the future bring? The pessimistic future will lead to a decline in US global competitiveness in innovation. This pessimistic future may not be accompanied by a dramatic crisis. However, this includes the weak US economy, which is not growing slow, which did not recall the growth trajectory that talent and innovation has generated in the United States during the majority of the 20th century.
