What's new, Atlas?

• Previously I wrote about a company called Boston Dynamics called Atlas. In this new demo, Atlas jumps to the box and creates a backflip. It is wonderful to think about what next generation Atlas can do. "Boston Dynamics" Atlas' robot is currently undergoing a completely inclined back flip. On February 23, 2016, Boston Dynamics released the video of the new Atlas robot on YouTube. The new Atlas is designed for outdoor and indoor buildings. It is designed for mobile operation and is ideal for walking over various terrain including snow. It is supplied by electricity and hydraulic pressure. Even when moving objects, LIDAR sensors and stereo sensors are used for the head to make it easier to avoid obstacles, assess terrain, and move and manipulate objects. This version of Atlas has a height of 5 ft 9 inches (1 head shorter than DRC Atlas) and weighs 180 pounds (82 kg).

The High Atlas collection is in Morocco sandwiched between Atlas of the North in the north and Anti-Atlas in the south. As its name implies, it has the highest peak and highest average elevation of the entire Atlas Mountains. Of particular note is the Tubukar Mountain Range (13,665 ft (4,165 m)) in Tubukal National Park, the highest peak of the Atlas Mountains. The high landscape of Atlas has deep valleys, green valleys, and big outcrops. Like many areas of the Atlas mountains, there is steady rainfall each year, contributing to the health of the surrounding civilization. In terms of high atlas, natural river systems have been strengthened by various hydropower dams and artificial lakes.
