What´s Gender Inequity?

Gender inequality refers to unfair or unequal treatment of people based on female or male. This usually refers to the role that society defines for each gender type by default. Sexual inequality refers to the treatment of people's prejudices based on male or female sexual behavior. Awareness and sensitivity to sex and sexual inequality are indispensable for the functioning of society, and each member of society should have an equal position, voice, and opportunity regardless of gender.

Gender is the main indicator of social and economic stratification, therefore it is the main indicator of exclusion. Regardless of the socio-economic class, the degree of inequality varies from country to country, and from time to time, but material welfare has a systematic gender difference. Therefore, gender inequality is the characteristic of most societies, and men are in better position at social, economic and political level. Over the past 20 years, the goal of reducing gender inequality has been an important position in strategic statements of international organizations and nations. Millennium Development Goal 3 reflects global concerns about gender inequality and has urged the government to eliminate gender inequality in primary and secondary education at all levels by 2015 by 2005 .

Today, we hear a lot about gender inequality and its occurrence in every field. Whether it is education, profession, whatever business it is, gender inequality has been replaced and increased.
