What reminded Andy of Rob in the mall during the Christmas season in Tears of a Tiger?

Rob and Andy are best friends since the seventh grade. They always have a day together at the shopping mall, and Christmas is no different. Andy told Dr. Carruthers, a psychiatrist, the two went into an expensive clothing shop and said the clerk would warn immediately as the clerk was black.

Christmas after the accident, Andy and Caesar went to the mall together. Andy felt guilty for killing Rob in a car accident. When he saw Santa's show, it was full of memories of Rob.

I do not know when we started this tradition, but at the beginning of the holiday season our family will enter the car and go to the shopping center.
