From 2016-17 academic year, Lee County Educator Efficiency System was used to evaluate Lee county counselor. Previously, EDUCATEAlabama program was used to evaluate Lee County 's counselor from 2009 to 2010 academic year. Previously, the Alabama State Vocational Education Expert Evaluation (PEPE) system was used to evaluate counselors. The local representative is in charge of evaluating the counselor, but the system coordinator will support the completion of the process. If the counselor is located between the two schools, both principals will participate in the evaluation process.
