What Makes a Hero

After having spent more than a week with a hero reading the story of "Beowulf", we can all conclude that he is a hero. Of course, he rescued the country from the monster, had incredible power and wisdom, and did not fear - this is a typical imaginary hero. However, when I heard the word hero, I thought it was a hero of everyday life. In my opinion, even though the result may be fatal, the hero is another person who shows courage. The hero is not necessarily a big muscle guy who knocks down the bad guys. My main character role model is a firefighter.

In order to understand the definition of a hero, it is important to know what a hero is. First of all, as mentioned above, even though a character in a movie can be regarded as a hero, heroes are not heroes in their profession, for example athletes, movie stars. Doctor's work is to save lives, so when they do, this is what we expect of them. However, if a doctor swims in a fast moving river and rescues a child drowning, he becomes a hero. In this case, he encouraged the child to show brave, courageous and considerate action and take a bold step. Therefore, regardless of occupation, any hero can be used, and we will take a bold step to do something for other people. Most importantly, heroes are heroes because they did something for others.

What makes a hero a hero? By definition, the hero shows courage in a disadvantageous situation, I think that I am willing to sacrifice myself in a weak position. According to this definition Macbeth's character is not a hero but a desire for the power to lead to his own destruction and the opposition to the introduction of Ibn Johnston's Macbeth.
