No matter how old you are, almost everyone knows who is smoking, friends, family, or colleagues. Tobacco has been used for smoking for centuries ("Complete social history of tobacco", paragraph 1). Tobacco plants have been cultivated in the United States since the 17th century and have been used in various forms since then (Tobacco's complete social history, paragraph 1). James Bonsack invented a machine capable of smoking, producing thousands of sheets a day in 1883 (the same is true of tobacco's complete social history).
Adolescent smoking rates are rising in the United States, and the cause of preventable death is increasing in the United States (Husten, 2009). Smoking causes various health problems such as lung cancer, esophageal cancer, laryngeal cancer, bladder cancer, oral cavity cancer (Stephenson & Allen, 2007). The goal of "Health People 2020" is to focus on 'Reducing tobacco usage of youth, public places, indoor non-smoking legislation prohibiting smoking in the workplace, and increasing young people's opposition to smoking' (Healthy People, 2020). This explains factors that will facilitate smoking for teens, national, state and local smoking rates. This document also explains the principles of health promotion and disease prevention in primary prevention, secondary prevention, tertiary prevention. In this article I will explain the efforts of countries, provinces and rural areas to achieve the goal "healthy people 2020".
Because smoking causes many health problems, health promotion activities are an important part of adolescent smoking prevention. Health promotion focuses on educating young people to stop smoking. The earlier teenagers cease smoking, the more likely they will reduce the health problems they face in their later life. Professional nurses play an important role in the prevention of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention strategies. It is important to understand some of the reasons why young people try to smoke. Interpersonal relationships and interpersonal relationships are environmental factors that affect adolescent smoking behavior. An example of specific behavior is smoking behavior that is influenced by "self-esteem, knowledge and intention" (Tingen, el, 2009). These behaviors are influenced by interactions in the environment, which can lead to smoking.
