Social responsibility is a means to achieve sustainable development. Adopting principles of important social responsibility such as accountability and transparency will help ensure the long-term viability and success of any organization or system.

In 2010, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published international standards to help organizations evaluate and cope with social responsibility. ISO 26000: Social Responsibility Guide defines social responsibility as follows.

The term social responsibility (SR) is well-known in social improvement initiatives before social responsibility enters into normal practice. SR is later called corporate social responsibility, and is now also called corporate social responsibility. All the terms related to SR are currently considered to be the same and these companies are used interchangeably as they clarify the company's vision and its role in society (BCCCC, 2008a) . SR is defined as "expectation for a company or individual to work to improve the welfare of society as a whole". It is believed to be organizational behavior, concern for citizens and society, and the need for stakeholders for comprehensive happiness. Since 1990, the SR has taken a different form and has paid more attention to the quality of the environment (Dess et. Al, 2004).

In the 1950s, corporate social responsibility was often referred to as social responsibility (SR) rather than corporate social responsibility because the status and advantage of modern business in the business society was not noticed (Carroll , 1999). Bowen (1953) wrote that the largest enterprise is the key to power and decision-making and that their behavior will directly or indirectly affect society and community life. That is, businessmen must implement SR policy, make SR decisions, or take actions that bring positive value and goals to society. In other words, in addition to what is stated in the financial statements, the merchant should be responsible for the impact of his behavior on society.

The awareness of social responsibility (SR) is rising due to globalization and its impact, the global nature of environmental and health issues, and the increased integration of laws of "information-based" norms. International agreements and declarations such as Declaration on Environment and Development of Rio, Johannesburg Declaration on Sustainable Development, Millennium Development Goals, Declaration of Basic Principles and Rights in ILO's Work reflects the priority currently accepted by SR Then share the principle of SR. The main principles of ISO 26000 are accountability, transparency, ethical behavior, respect for stakeholders, rule of law, human rights, and international codes of conduct (ISO 26000, 2010).
