Well, let's return to the pyramid of the old food. What to eat for the previous tour guide. What replaced it? MyPlate, setting place to describe the food group as part of a healthy meal. Fruits and vegetables cover half of the plate, grains and proteins occupy about a quarter. You will notice that MyPlate does not have dessert. But let's boldly divide the cheese cake - do not tell anyone
MyPlate is a new health food plan that was replaced by MyPyramid by the US Department of Agriculture in 2011. The message behind MyPlate is to divide all the food you eat on the plate into four major categories and divide the milk into one. The product is right next to it. Each food category has various kinds of foods. I will explain each in future articles. But for now, when thinking about what to feed your child (or if you intend to turn the whole family into a healthier diet), half of his everyday meals are fruits and vegetables Make sure that it is lean protein, whole grain and dairy products. It provides him with the nutrients necessary to maintain health and prosper.
The orange part of MyPlate occupies about a quarter of the plate. Whole grains (such as Whole Grain Flour) are more nutritious and contain more dietary fiber to make it more full. Process the refined grain (white powder) to remove vitamins, minerals and fibers. Most sophisticated grains are abundant, which means some nutrients, but the fibers are not returned after processing. In the case of sandwiches let me show you what to select for MyPlate. Healthy sandwiches may start with two slices of whole wheat bread - your cereal. Add a piece of meat, cheese, or other protein. Then add vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes and grated carrots to the sandwich. Add fruits and a cup of low-fat white milk, you can have a balanced diet.
