What is Federalism?

Federalism is a political system for two or more governments to share power in the same region. Most democracy in the world is governed by federal system including Canada, the United States, Australia, India, Argentina. Members of the Alliance 's House of Representatives have not been appointed or elected, but they are representatives of their respective governments.

The exact structure of the various Federal institutions is very different. Some federations have a central government that governs the whole country, but other federations give more power to different states and states. In some federations there is a big difference in the legislative authority of different entities and in other federations the authorities are duplicated. The federal system is usually managed by Congress, President or Diet and Prime Minister.

There is a specific procedure that all federal institutions need to follow in order to settle the central government, the constitution, and disputes. "Constitution" is used as a guiding principle and different components are used to check each other. The federal government often has procedures and organizations to promote intergovernmental relations.

First, I will study the Federal characteristics of the Constitution. Before explaining the details, it is important to have a clear understanding of what federation is. The Federal Government is a government system with the distribution of constitutional powers and the judiciary plays a special role in resolving conflicts that may occur between government levels. Partial rigidity and partial flexibility of the Constitution: The Constitution can be categorized as flexible and rigorous according to the difficulty of the revision procedure. The flexible constitution does not distinguish between constitution and customary law, so it is a constitution that can be revised through ordinary legislative procedures without any special procedures for revising the constitution. In countries with a flexible Constitution, the legislature can not enact or enact legislation and any court can not doubt the legitimacy of that action.

The federal system of the United States is based on the US Constitution. Any authority not stipulated in the Constitution is reserved for the people or the nation. The Constitution clarifies what the federal government permits. The three government departments of the United States are legislative, administrative and justice. In the United States, the Constitution gives Congress the authority to enact state laws. The Constitution also gives the president authority to make decisions on US laws. In the United States, the federal government can only do what is permitted under the Constitution. Therefore, the power of the federal government is balanced with the privileges and powers of the state and the people. If the federal government is seeking more power, it has to change the constitution.
