In this blog, we introduce three kinds of program models, including their goals and effects. These three programs are transitional, immersive, and bi-directional / bidirectional. Transition is a weak form of bilingual education. Educational and social goals are assimilating or decreasing, although there are a few to a large majority of the languages used in the classroom (Baker & Wright, 2011). This program model type is superior to a program that only one language can be used in the classroom.
