There are various forms and methods classified as art in the art world. With the recent attack on the Queensland Art Museum (QAG), many people quickly judged the abstract art exhibition and stated that "abstract art is not genuine art". Some passive publishers continue to say "Abstract painters, recklessness, traitors, regardless of format." In my opinion, abstract art can be classified as art because it combines basic concepts and techniques of art.
Can you define art? Webster's dictionary explicitly defines art as "consciously using skills and creative imagination", but this does not actually define what art is. There is good art and bad art. But how can you decide how art looks like? What is the sound and feel of good art? If someone decides whether the work is really a work of art and whether the conclusion is good, how can you decide it? I think that I am an artist. However, there is no fixed stereotype in the appearance of the artist. Because there are various kinds of art, there are various kinds of artists. For us, people who are not artists, it is often difficult (or sometimes not work) to understand the connections and functions of artists in society.
What is art? And "What is the function of art?" Is relatively new. Creating art contrary to spectator expectations and artistic customs is a clear contemporary concept. However, artists of all ages are products of their relative culture and age. Contemporary artists can express themselves in ways that past artists could not do and respond to social problems. When experiencing contemporary art at Getty Center, viewers use different criteria to judge the art, not the criteria used in the past. In lieu of asking, "Do you like the ideas proposed by artists?" The audience may ask "Do you like the appearance?"
