What is academic English?

You may be confident in using English in your daily life, but the type of English you need to study is quite different. This is called "academic English", it is a necessary English type.

Most academic English aims to express relationships between ideas. Language may be more complicated than everyday English, but the goal of an excellent scholarly writer is to be as clear, accurate and easy as possible. They aim to think about what the readers already know and guide them to more familiar fields and topics.

The ability to write academic style is what you developed at the university. Because academic subjects are different, it is difficult to give an overall 'rule' to the way to write a university course.

Even for those who speak English as their mother tongue or those who speak English as a second language, it is easy to fall into unreasonable reliance on specific scientific achievements when learning how to prepare academic papers for the first time. Academic English is the language the school uses to help students acquire knowledge and use them. This article reviews current literature to determine the understanding of the nature of academic English in the context of K-12 school education, focusing on English learners. In this article, I will introduce important issues in the definition and implementation of academic English education and fields for further exploration. In this research we will explore cultural response education in cross-cultural areas, including multicultural literacy education and English learner education. Educators are encouraged to adopt a critical and responsive position to incorporate their cultural and life experiences in implementing these recommendations. Define literacy as social practice and create classrooms that promote cultural response and effective instruction based on creating more equitable learning opportunities in all fields
