In this research we will explore cultural response education in cross-cultural areas, including multicultural literacy education and English learner education. Educators are encouraged to adopt a critical and responsive position to incorporate their cultural and life experiences in implementing these recommendations. Define literacy as social practice and create classrooms that promote cultural response and effective instruction based on creating more equitable learning opportunities in all fields
