What I’Ve Learned in English Essay

As a freshman, many of the subjects I have learned during the first semester are not strangers to me. I studied algebra, biology and even Filipino, but my English course is totally different. I am not familiar with the English of the university. For example, I have never been asked to write a paper every week to evaluate it. I always choose the type of English we have used to talk about the novel. Nonetheless, I learned a lot from English classes throughout the first semester, drafted a draft on essay writing, put together my idea, and wrote from my heart, not through writing.

In English 1, I learned the difficulty of solving my paper, and I had to learn important usage of rubbing paper. For example, I am not always accustomed to writing my paper on scratch paper, but I always bounce off in the bushes as I always think about what I say in my head. In my English lesson, our professor asked us to submit our temporary papers and our thesis, and I put my thoughts in my draft and rewrite it I was forced to do. This is a difficult time to learn, but it was worthwhile to write and rewrite everything when I was writing the final paper.

I have learned important skills in English 1. I can use it not only for the writing of my thesis but also for my daily activities. I have learned the skills to summarize ideas. For example, write an overview of the paper. I thought that writing articles always was about the type of process for any idea, but in my English lesson I must first outline the summary before I write interesting articles I learned that. Certainly, it was my first disaster that I tried to create an outline. Though it got harder than ever, thanks to endless perseverance and a lot of exercises, I can now organize my thoughts, write them, and write great readable articles.

In my opinion, the most important thing I learned in English was not to write, but to write from the bottom of my heart. For example, I wrote several topics when I was a high school student, but I felt that my teacher was impressed by this topic interesting. In English 1, we are fortunate to have a professor who gives us the right to select topics of which we really are interested. Through this, we learned to write what is not taught in stupid articles, and learn to express our own love through writing.

In general, I did not expect to learn lots of new things in university English, but I learned that I learned something that most grammar books can not do. Generally speaking, I like English and I like learning English and learning. I have been interested in English since I was young and started learning that. I have never read a really dark and dark book, but I would like to read it after I hear Frankenstein 's wonderful things.
