What Have Theorists Meant by Liberty?

Freedom is the value that everyone in a democratic society considers as a matter of course. Getting this value from us will give individuals the opportunity to make their own choices in life. In many low-developed Arab countries, freedom is not a constant value in various societies of the world, citizens of Western countries can say that they have greater freedom. Over the centuries, the theorists have studied the concept of freedom from people like Machiavelli to contemporary theorists with many different definitions like Mill.

Freedom and freedom are also very different. As political theorist Hanna Fenichel Pitkin observes, freedom implies a system of rules, "a network of constraints and order", so this term is closely related to political life. Freedom has a broader meaning from anti-slavery to the lack of psychological or personal retention (no one explains freedom as a different name without loss). But these two words have been redefined for centuries. Because Americans question the fundamental concept of what freedom means. For the founder of the country freedom is the fundamental value of the United States. This is the legacy of the concept of "freedom of the British", the British proudly distinguishes itself from the slave owner of the continent of Europe, which is not protected by the arbitrary force of the state. In response to John Rock, the Declaration of Independence talks about "pursuit of life, freedom, and happiness".

When Jean Jacques Rousseau wrote a social contract, the concept of freedom and freedom was not new. Many political theorists such as Thomas Hobbs and John Locke developed their own free interpretation, and indeed Locke published his view on social contracts. What Rousseau did was to completely change the concepts contained in these important vocabulary and introduce another way to solve the social contract dilemma. How can we keep people in their natural state and enter the organized society? Liberals believe this is protection of protection - their freedom does not mean damage to their property. Rousseau's concept of freedom is quite different from conventional liberals. For him, freedom means voice and participation. It is not enough to be protected under a sovereign shield Rousseau thinks that people have to join a professional to get rid of the state of nature!
