This is a very big problem. Recently, I have many problems in the activities of the Canadian Community Foundation.
As you know, in October 2015, "Affiliation: Exploring the connection with the community" was released. The National Vital Signs Report was inspired by the early leadership of many community foundations in exploring the relationship between affiliation and vitality of the local community.
This report has laid the foundation for Canadian multifaceted exploration over the past few years.
The easiest way to define the attribution that I can think of is part of our group. Local communities, faith groups, families, even fans of sports teams - we may belong to.
Our research shows that attribution has its advantages. When people have strong sense of belonging, they think life is more meaningful. People who have a strong support network tend to have lower morbidity prevalence and better overall health condition. To belong to a community, region, or country affects the identity and the extent of participation as a citizen.
As we have discovered, sense of belonging is more than just emotion. It is a stronger catalyst for a more healthy community and more comprehensive Canada.
Our research also shows that attribution is an interactive way. Yes, this is how much we think we are adapting to a certain place or group, but it is about how we welcome this place and group including us.
While we continue to explore our sense of belonging, we will use our national vital signs program to better understand both sides of 'activated' in the next two years.
In 2016, we explored this by exploring how personal social engagement and participation affects individual belonging awareness. What does it mean to participate? What are the advantages? What are the challenges and obstacles that you may face? What is the relationship between participation and a person's belonging awareness? How and why can we help others as individuals?
In 2017, I will solve this problem from the other side of the city. Explore the challenges and problems faced by communities and places, welcome people and let them join.
In short, we explore questions: Does the community become the place where everyone feels they belong?
We are excited to continue exploring Canada's accession - and we are looking forward to sharing ideas, stories, and knowledge from coast to coast and to the coast using Vital Signs
So tell me what your community base is doing to make you think you are a community and make your community feel like everyone belongs to them.
PS - I will issue a vital sign report created in collaboration with the Real Sports Foundation during this month. This is to deepen sports if it is based on impartiality, excellence, tolerance and enjoyment. Affiliation belonging. Please look forward to our community and others!
What do you mean? The word "owned" means that it is suitable for a group or place and is accepted by each of these parts. But where and what does society mean? To answer this question, you must first grow yourself. In order to grow yourself and do this, you must look inside yourself to see who you are. If you do not know who you are, you can not belong anywhere. If you are not developing yourself and are satisfied with what kind of person you are, you will have trouble finding where you really belong. If you belong to a place, you must also know your worth as a person, so you will not fall into the wrong group. Another step in attribution is that you have to be able to leave your comfort zone a bit. Everything is an important part of the place. But socializing is more difficult than just joining.
What do you mean? Not for others, but for family members, not for the community but for being part of the community. In other words, feeling part of the environment, feeling part of the world, entering the universe. If you think you do not belong, you will (you will). When others worry about its beauty by looking at the valley in my backyard, it can not be understood that it means that I am part of the world I was born and lived in . The original beauty full of wildlife next to my house makes me feel that there is only a lonely existence for me.
