In James Hurst 's Red Letter Ibis there are internal and external conflicts, but the main conflict is inside the narrator.

(Inside) When he was 6 years old, when his brother was born, the talker told the reader from the beginning that graffiti "disappointed". When he learned that Doudou might challenge mentally and physically, the narrator started planning to kill his brothers; however, the graffiti smiled at him through the post on the bed So his plan was soon abandoned.

(External) "He is a burden in many ways." He noticed that his brother narrator had to do graffiti, so he shared "the only beauty I know" . When graffiti is crying for nature's beauty there, the narrator is won, and he brings graffiti to the wetland every day.

My heart (and to see it sadly to others) is a cruel knot brought about by the flow of love.

One day, the brothers showed him a small coffin made for him. And now it is covered with dust, and the owl shouting with the mouse. When I threatened my older brother leaving graffiti in the bar, he exclaimed. "Do not leave me"

The (outer) brothers tried to force graffiti to become "normal". The narrator imposes his will on his brother and forces him to walk the graffiti

If you succeed in walking in (internal) graffiti, your brothers will have confidence in mistake and will believe in their "invincible". After returning the graffiti to the coast, my older brother escaped from him in the rain. When he tried to catch up, Doudou died because of his brother's pride, that the pressure to the heart of the beep sound was too big.

This reaction is also very suitable for the role of graffiti; he pays attention to beauty, and according to a talker, even though dying, Ibis is magnificent and beautiful. This well-designed series finishes the story. The narrator finally noticed the damage caused by his pride and after treating him with the scarlet Ibis who had collapsed him, he eventually treated him with missing fragility and care. This moment is not a talker to protect ourselves; it is to protect graffiti, unfortunately he will benefit from this protection long ago.

James Hurst made scarlet ibis using many literary methods like symbolism. The main feature Hurst uses in short stories is Scarlet Ibis itself; it is like Doodle in many ways. This bird, Scarlet Ibis is not the only signature drawn in this story, but in the red ibis hotel the red color is called death many times. Scarlet Ibis is a bird, and graffiti is lying on the ground and dies next to a bleeding tree. Because it is not a common bird, they must have traveled a long distance before they died. This is a symbol of many graffiti. Just as Scarlet Ibis travels a long distance, graffiti did a lot of things, graffiti and bird's life shortened expectations
