What are 10 goals for a high school student?

This question reminds me of my high school days. Of course, many options and functions are developed for these purposes. Based on my student and school experience, I will introduce some of the main goals of high school students.

Achievements - As we grow up and participate in classes in advance, our grades are starting to be more important than ever. Students face competitions between classes, classes and schools. The most important thing now in their minds is their performance.

Scholars - students are getting smarter now, and having a wealth of educational background understands that they help them succeed in their life where they are. They need to be constantly prepared to maintain academic performance

Extracurricular activities - now low scores are not enough. Students are considered multipurpose persons. Through the choice of the school council, students learn to become leaders and become good leaders.

Time management - High school is a rich student experience including multiple tasks, projects, school activities, exams, cultural programs and so on. They focus on the maintenance schedule that teaches them how to manage their time and schedule

Career planning - Because of all of the above factors, students feel very tired and have no time to plan careers. Progressive school leads school career planning system / practice leads students

University choice - Why does the student concentrate on achieving all the above goals? To reach their future universities! They already have a list of future universities and are ready to meet the standards.

Preparation for admission - In addition to school training, high school students are also being pressured to prepare for college entrance exams.

Network - social is one of the greatest tools for keeping in touch with graduates, teachers, professors and others. This allows them to keep up to date and gain insight into the appropriate course.

Personal skills - In addition to focusing on all of the above academic goals, high school students try to improve their personal skills. Determining their personality and self-correcting the environment they need

FINANCIAL SUPPORT - This is the main purpose of the students and parents, including education finance plan, scholarship and so on.

I'm not academically ready. Sometimes, high school really does not prepare for university students. At other times, the students loose in high school and paid the price in the middle of their junior high school. The purpose of high school is to pass (to enroll students into university), and at university it is a success

For most students, the best goal is university degree. However, at some high schools in Michigan this year's Academic State Championships, after graduating from high school, more students, such as trainers, nurse assistants, or information technology workers, got certificates. At Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw School District, half of the people participating in higher education courses need relief measures. In the same area, 34% of the graduates of the Magnet School's School of Arts and Sciences are preparing to go to college whereas Hill is 5.1%, nearly 95% of the magnet school is enrolled in higher education, Hill is 61 %is.

Today, many of us openly think that preparation for university students is a goal - even if it is not a goal of public high school. Historically, this is not a fact. In American history, public schools are not preparing every student to attend college. Therefore, the goal of our school has changed, but our model does not change. We would like to allow schools to provide new and improved results without using sufficient data and resources to justify school preparation milestones. Less than half of American students have reached state standards for measuring university readiness, and only a quarter of high school students are participating in ACT meeting all the exam standards prepared by the university . This result is not surprising. We are expecting high schools to do work they have never done before.

Students must be tested in reading and mathematics from at least 10th grade to 12th grade from at least 3rd to 8th graders. Students must conduct scientific tests at least in the first grade elementary school, junior high school, and high school. Schools that do not meet the objectives of the overall student body or specific student categories will be approved. To teach core academic skills in each classroom, the teacher must be "high quality". Specifically, an elementary school teacher must obtain a bachelor's degree and pass a strict examination in the core curriculum. Teachers at junior and senior high school must pass the examination or complete major courses. Also, a graduate degree or similar program shows that it is suitable for the subjects you teach.
