○ Orphans that grew up in the facility were 20 points lower in IQ test than foster colleagues
Last weekend, I was fortunate to be able to serve in my community. Some of them are part of the foster care system. Until yesterday, I was not with Riko. I know "system" ... I've heard of "system" ... but I never had intimate experience with my parents, children in "system" There is none. I wonder if you could take care of your parents, protect you, protect you, and, most importantly, you can not love you. I am very pleased that my parents are here until the age of fifty. Do you have a problem? of course! Sometimes I run away from my hometown, hate them, and I do not want to be tired of asking, "As long as you live under my roof ...". of course! What children are not! But one thing I doubt is that my parents love me and are always by my side.
In the United States today, about 437,000 children divorce from their parents and live by foster care system. More than half of them are colored people. The reason why a child falls into a child welfare system is widely misunderstood and parents and children's journey to restore children from foster parents may be long and difficult. At our show today I will show you the story of Angelica, a New York immigrant woman who is about to navigate the system and take her children home.
Through the Adoption Analysis and Analysis Reporting System (AFCARS), Children's and Children's Authority Children's Bureau will collect data on the entry and exit of state foster children. Complete reports are available online
