Western Influence on Japanese Business Management

Companies in Europe and America are studying some of Japanese management style, attitudes and philosophy, and seem to adopt the field of occupational ethics that they believe to be worthy to their company. Because the most important reason behind Japan's success in improving productivity and quality is the quality of their labor force, Western companies need to research and develop various Japanese management methods. Western companies can not usually compete with Japanese companies. They have to adjust their relationships and management methods simply so that they are more competitive with the world as well as in Japan.

Therefore, Japanese business management methods are influenced by various cultural aspects including the performance and competitiveness of state enterprises. It is not difficult for Western companies to comply with the current situation in Japan. Also, there is no cultural driving force in the compensation system, career path, and the mechanism behind advanced workers dealing with skilled workers and partnerships.
