Western Humanities in Western Humanities covers a wide range of things that I know about the world. Many people claim that many of the influences and inspirations they motivate to advance are based on our past foundations. Whether it is art, literature or social movement, we must always regard our past as a blueprint as civilization. Our history is a blueprint of life. I think that the purpose of studying Western humanities is to see our past. Regardless of race color or religion, most people in our country are descendants of the Western world.

American literary Fred Edwards (2014) evaluates eight different areas of Western humanitarianism. And modern humanism (also called naturalism humanism), scientific humanism, moral humanism, and democratic humanism. Judging from the names of the eight branches, they seem to have explored humanism thoroughly in every aspect. Furthermore, in order to explore the relationship between religious value and human value in Western history, each branch must have several philosophers. In my opinion their argument helped delve into many new topics, but the contemporary Western humanities science is far beyond the eastern countries, but they all failed.

In this article I will discuss the theme of the meeting in detail by considering the views of Johan Gottfried Herder and Hans Georg Gadmer on education and history.

Students of most American liberal arts need to study Western humanities and Western civilization courses. These courses are designed to expose students to some of the great writers of the West, such as Mary Shelley, Albert Camus, Chinua Achebe and Charles Darwin. At the end of the course, students may feel indifferent, enlightening or uncomfortable about the social and scientific issues discussed.
